1）what is Galvanised Steel Sheet Metal?

Galvanized steel sheet is to prevent corrosion of the steel sheet surface and prolong its service life. The steel sheet surface is coated with a layer of metallic zinc. This kind of galvanized steel sheet is called galvanized steel sheet.

4)Mechanical behavior

(1) Tensile test:

①Performance index: usually, only galvanized sheets for structural, drawing, and deep drawing have requirements of the tensile performance. The structural galvanized sheet requires yield point, tensile strength, elongation, etc. Only elongation is required for stretching. 

②Test method:  same as the general thin steel sheet test method; check the relevant standards provided in "8" and the test method standards listed in the "ordinary carbon steel thin steel plate."

(2) Bending test:

The bending test is the primary measure of the process performance of the thin plate, but the requirements of various galvanized sheets are not consistent with the national standards. The ASTM does not require bending and tensile tests except for the structural level. Bending tests are required in Japan except for structural grade, corrugated building board, and general corrugated board.

Requirements: It is generally required that after the galvanized sheet is bent 180, the outer surface of the zinc layer must not be detached, and the board base must not be cracked or broken.
