What is 55% Galvalume steel in coils?
Galvalume steel in coils is carbon steel coated with an alloy that combines the impervious properties of aluminum with the malleability and galvanized protection of zinc. The alloy coating gives galvalume steel coil and sheets a smooth, plain finish.
The weight for galvalume and galvanized
Zinc anodes tend to dissolve more evenly and completely; while typical aluminum anodes erode unevenly with visible “craters”. The weight of the Aluminium is significantly lighter in weight than zinc so the transportation charge is less, as is the effort required to fit them. The weight of zinc is 2.5 times heavier than aluminum.
