1）GI steel coil/hot dipped galvanized steel coil?
The hot-dipped galvanized steel coil is one of the most effective means to delay the environmental corrosion of iron and steel materials. First, it is to immerse the iron and steel products whose surfaces have been cleaned and activated in molten zinc solution. Then, the surface is coated with a zinc alloy coating with good adhesion.
The corrosion resistance of the hot-dip galvanized sheet comes from the standard electric potential of zinc and the standard electrode potential of iron. Therefore, the zinc layer is cathodically protected in the presence of water or wet and cold gas to protect the steel base, which significantly improves the quality of steel crafts—validity period. (1) Tensile test: Generally speaking, only galvanized sheets for structural, tensile, and deep drawing have tensile properties requirements.
(2) Bending test: It is the main item to measure the process performance of the sheet. However, the requirements of various national standards for various galvanized sheets are not consistent. It is generally required that after the galvanized sheet is bent 180 degrees, the outer surface shall not have the zinc layer detached, and the base shall not have cracks and breaks.
The quality requirements of a high-quality galvanized sheet include specifications, appearance, zinc coating, chemical composition, shape, mechanical properties, packaging, etc.
