1. International factors: The US government shutdown continues, and opinions on a December rate cut by the Federal Reserve are divided, increasing short-term uncertainty. The steel market's fundamentals are at stake, with attention focused on subsequent macroeconomic developments. Galvanized steel coil prices fell by approximately $5 this week.
2. Domestic market analysis: This week, pig iron production decreased by 21,400 tons to 2,342,200 tons; production of the five major steel products decreased by 185,500 tons to 8,567,400 tons. Overall inventory continued to decline, entering a "weak supply and demand" pattern, with significant differentiation among product categories.
3. Customer purchasing analysis: Total inventory of the five major steel products decreased by 101,700 tons to 15,035,700 tons, and apparent demand decreased by 495,100 tons to 8,669,100 tons.
