1)Pre painted steel coil
Pre painted steel coil, also known as PPGI, and color-coated steel coil. The base metal can be cold-rolled steel plate, hot-dip galvanized steel plate, aluminized plate, high aluminum alloy plate, etc., coated or laminated with various organic coatings or plastics on the surface.
Jingtai has two color coating production lines with an annual output of 300,000 tons. This production line is currently one of the most advanced double-coating and double-drying coil continuous coating units globally, with a maximum process speed of 150 m/min.

Our PPGI/PPGL product lines
Our color coating production line adopts the German "Siemens" automatic control system and introduces the American Fata production technology. The equipment level has advanced domestically, and the production raw materials are all imported to ensure high-quality products. Moreover, compared with the general oven of only 40 meters, its production workshop is equipped with a 60-meter-long oven, which prolongs the curing time. It enables the product to achieve high weather resistance, self-cleaning, anti-aging, and anti-fading characteristics.

Influence of coating on the service life of Pre painted steel coil
The primary function of the coating is reflected in the visual effect and the protection function. The coating pigments can be divided into organic pigments and inorganic pigments. The organic pigments are bright in color; the inorganic pigments are generally light in color， but the chemical properties and UV resistance are better than organic pigments.
For the choice of primer, the epoxy resin should be used if adhesion and corrosion resistance are emphasized; if flexibility and UV resistance are more concerned, polyurethane primer should be selected.
The color of steel coating can play a specific anti-corrosion effect. It uses the coating film to isolate the external corrosive substances.
