1. Epoxy, modified epoxy, polyester, and water-based primers are all acceptable primers. Among the Color Pre-Painted Steel Coil, epoxy primer is the most traditional primer. However, as the use of color pre-painted steel coil in home appliances increases, more and more polyurethane primer is being applied to the coating in order to improve the coating's formability.
2. Polyurethane, epoxy, polyester, and amino alkyd types of back paint. Epoxy and polyester are typically used as the back paint. While the polyester back paint has good processability and weather resistance, its corrosion resistance and scratch resistance are slightly inferior to those of the epoxy back paint. The epoxy back paint also has better processability.
